Day 1: Arcachon to Biscarrosse (26 km)

Start your two-wheeled tour on the Côte d’Argent. Take time to contemplate the breathtaking view of the Bassin, the Banc d’Arguin and the Ferret peninsula from the majestic Dune duPyla. Then venture into the Landes pine forest to relax at Biscarrosse-Plage.

Day 2: Biscarrosse-Plage to Mimizan-Plage (57 km)

Set off early for this long stage, which has a few changes in altitude. You’ll move away from the coast and into the vast pine plantations, where you’ll be charmed by the enchanting nature of the Great Lakes. After crossing the state forest of Sainte-Eulalie-en-Born, reach theocean and the lively beach of Mimizan.

Day 3: Mimizan-Plage to Léon (47 km)

Enjoy a hearty breakfast by the sea at Mimizan-Plage. Then cycle back to the silence of nature and succumb to the woody fragrances of the Landes forest. Along the wild coast, take time out to admire the magnificent Cap de l’Homy or Contis beaches. In the evening, laze on the edge of the Etang de Léon.

Day 4: Léon to Capbreton (34 km)

Opt for a refreshing swim in the Lac Marin at Vieux-Boucau or on one of the ocean beaches at the mouth of the Huchet current. After passing through the Soustons forest, treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in one of the Landes region’s essential seaside resorts. Seignosse and its surf spots, Hossegor and its many activities, or the port of Capbreton.

Day 5: Capbreton to Bayonne (29 km)

Crossing the Seignanx, you’ll gradually leave behind the charm of the Landes countryside and its long, sandy coastline. Make way for Labenne, Ondres and Tarnos. After crossing the Adour, welcome to the Basque Country and its Bayonne conurbation.
